An advert claiming that Horlicks makes children "taller, stronger and sharper" has been banned after it mistakenly was screened on British television.
The Horlicks advert said the malt drink had been tested on pupils at a boarding school, and included a voiceover saying, "Children have become taller, stronger and sharper. The Horlicks challenge - now proven. See for yourself."
GlaxoSmithKline, maker of Horlicks, said the version of the product sold in Bangladesh was fortified and its health claims were supported by clinical studies done by the National Institute of Nutrition in India.
Horlicks sold in the UK, however, is not fortified and GSK said there was no intention of advertising it as such here.

There are lot of video and online marketing viral which really got hyped in market. I believe every one
remembers Hari sado TV commercial of naukri.com. Every one was talking about that. One some even filed case against a company.
In 90's, when TV has just started as common entertainment tool, there were many TV commercial like "Surf" which are still remembered. The impact was huge that Surf just be a brand name rather become a word which meant washing powder. I still remember asking for another branded washing powder from a shop keeper as "Bhai, kaun kaun sa surf hai!!!!!".
The time has changed now internet users have huge presence. Most of the time users are at office and having no time to check the good TV commercials. So we thought of aggregating the cool video for you under one roof.
